These sailings most commonly are short, 3 to 5 day mini cruises, around the British Isles to take in the Scottish Highlands and Islands, the wider UK and Ireland, or to Northern Europe, such as to Norway and Iceland. In addition, some cruises leaving Scotland do sail further afield to the Mediterranean or even the Canary Islands and Caribbean on occasion.
