Falmouth Harbour Cruise Terminal acts as Cornwall’s main cruise port. With a proud maritime tradition, Falmouth is the UK’s deepest natural harbour, allowing even the largest cruise ships to dock in spite of the town itself being relatively small.
Cruises from Falmouth usually either sail down the Atlantic coast, taking in Holland, Belgium, France, Spain and Portugal, or to Northern Europe for the Norwegian Fjords and beyond. These itineraries vary in duration as well as destination too, from 3 to 5-night mini cruises to longer sailings of over two weeks at sea.
Ambassador is the only cruise line departing direct from Falmouth aboard their popular cruise ship Ambition. However, the harbour can accommodate ships of all sizes, so the terminal is usually busy with a number of other lines stopping by as a port of call, such as Fred Olsen, MSC, Holland America, Princess and Regent.
