Day 1 - IJmuiden (for Amsterdam)

Arrive: Thu 01 June 2028 at 07:00 / Depart: Thu 01 June 2028 at 17:00

In a city where almost everything is extraordinary in some way, Amsterdam is a blank canvas on which to make your own masterpiece of a visit. Behold the largest collections of Vincent Van Gogh works, handbags and all things cat related – in separate museums, of course. Hop on a canal boat, rent a bike or head out on foot in any direction and you will stumble on something unforgettable, like an ancient cathedral, a park carpeted in flowers or the iconic windmills that dot the Dutch landscape. Near the port town of Ijmuiden, Haarlem offers all the trappings of a quintessential Dutch city – picturesque canals, cozy cafés and cobbled lanes as well as the oldest museum in the Netherlands, Teylers Museum.

Day 2 - At Sea

Day 3 - Newcastle, UK

Arrive: Sat 03 June 2028 at 11:00 / Depart: Sat 03 June 2028 at 21:00

A delightful blend of ancient and modern, Newcastle is one of the liveliest cities in northern England. Originally built in the 11th century, the Castle Keep was the “new castle” for which the city is named. Stroll along the River Tyne and marvel at the different bridges that have transformed the face of the city. Modern art is the main attraction at the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, while the history of Newcastle unfolds at the Great North Museum.

Day 4 - Dundee

Arrive: Sun 04 June 2028 at 11:00 / Depart: Sun 04 June 2028 at 21:00

Dundee is a coastal city on the Firth of Tay estuary in eastern Scotland. Its regenerated waterfront has 2 nautical museums: RRS Discovery, Captain Scott’s Antarctic expedition ship, and 19th-century warship, HM Frigate Unicorn. North of the water, Verdant Works is a museum celebrating the city’s jute-manufacturing heritage. The McManus: Dundee’s Art Gallery & Museum displays art and archaeological finds.

Day 5 - Invergordon

Arrive: Mon 05 June 2028 at 10:00 / Depart: Mon 05 June 2028 at 20:00

Known as "Inverbreakie" until the early 18th century, Invergordon has long been recognized for its rich naval history and jewel of a harbor in the northern Highlands. Invergordon perches on the northern bank of the Cromarty Firth, a lengthy estuary that provides welcome sanctuary for a multitude of water birds and one of only two species of resident bottlenose dolphin in the British Isles. Venture into the Highlands, where the local clan castles perch on craggy hills and on the shores of lochs and firths. And there's always the chance to see the mysterious Loch Ness Monster.

Day 6 - Kirkwall

Arrive: Tue 06 June 2028 at 07:00 / Depart: Tue 06 June 2028 at 17:00

This starkly beautiful island holds many ancient treasures like the enigmatic Standing Stones of Stenness and the 5,000-year-old village of Skara Brae, amazingly discovered with furniture and indoor drains preserved. Visit the imposing trio of St. Magnus Cathedral, the nearby ruins of the Earl's Palace, and the earlier Bishop's Palace.

Day 7 - Ullapool

Arrive: Wed 07 June 2028 at 07:00 / Depart: Wed 07 June 2028 at 16:00

Catch one of the ever-changing exhibitions of works by local artists at the Ullapool Visual Arts Centre and view impressive textiles, ceramics, paintings and photography. Trace your Scottish ancestry in the genealogy section of the Ullapool Museum housed in a repurposed Telford Parliamentary church or go hillwalking on one of the many slopes that rise from the sea up to the Scottish Highlands.

Day 8 - Thorshaven

Arrive: Thu 08 June 2028 at 10:00 / Depart: Thu 08 June 2028 at 19:00

Stroll through this picturesque fishing town and admire the views from the headland. Take a drive around this stunning, craggy island of majestic waterfalls, beautiful fjords, farms, villages, enigmatic sea stacks and panoramic views of the neighboring islands. Or visit an ancient Viking settlement in a valley of lakes.

Day 9 - At Sea

Day 10 - Seydisfjordur, Iceland

Arrive: Sat 10 June 2028 at 07:00 / Depart: Sat 10 June 2028 at 16:00

Day 11 - Husavik

Arrive: Sun 11 June 2028 at 08:00 / Depart: Sun 11 June 2028 at 18:00

Renowned as Iceland’s whale-watching capital, the picturesque fishing village of Husavik offers unforgettable adventures to witness a variety of extraordinary whale species. Skjálfandi Bay is home to a diverse array of whales and other sea life, including minke, humpback and blue whales; white-beaked dolphins and harbor porpoises. The Husavik Whale Museum makes an excellent accompaniment to whale watching, shedding light on the ecology of these fascinating creatures as well as the history of whaling. Meanwhile, the Culture House provides an interesting look at the folk, maritime and natural history of northern Iceland. Lake Myvatn and Jökulsárgljúfur National Park make equally compelling day adventures.

Day 12 - Isafjordur

Arrive: Mon 12 June 2028 at 07:00 / Depart: Mon 12 June 2028 at 17:00

Although remotely located in northwest Iceland and surrounded by ruggedly beautiful fjords, Isafjordur is surprisingly cosmopolitan. The capital of the Westfjords has long been a cultured oasis in the midst of this haunting beauty, fueled by the rewards of being one of Iceland's largest fishing centers. The first merchants lived in wooden houses now preserved in the Neöstikaupstaöur section of town, which is alive with shops and restaurants. Two museums are of particular interest - the West Fjords Folk Museum for tools and heritage items and the Maritime Museum for a look at the 19th century fishing industry.

Day 13 - Reykjavik, Iceland

Arrive: Tue 13 June 2028 at 07:00 / Depart: Tue 13 June 2028

Discover this fascinating land where the forces of nature hold sway as you visit the modern capital with its thermally heated outdoor swimming pool, remarkable botanic gardens and folk museum. Explore the starkly beautiful countryside of lava formations, glaciers and incredible waterfalls and the site where the first parliament sat in 930 A.D.
