The 2026 World Cup kicks off on June 11 and wraps up with the final on July 19. With 48 teams competing in 104 matches across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest tournaments yet.
Whether you’re a die-hard supporter, a casual fan, or just looking for a summer getaway, you don’t have to miss a single game… not even if you’re cruising the high seas.
Several major cruise lines are bringing the World Cup to their ships. Here’s where you can catch the action:
Matches will be shown on The SeaView Pool Deck, The Princess Theatre, and The Horizon Lounge. You can also join themed match events in spots like The Piazza or Café al Bacio, making it easy to enjoy every game with fellow fans on board Princess Cruises.
Games on Holland America Cruise Line can be watched in The Lido Pool Deck, Explorers Lounge, and Queen’s Lounge, while bigger matches appear in The Mainstage Theatre. There’s plenty of space for groups, and the atmosphere is always lively.
On Seabourn Cruises ultra-luxury ships, matches are available in The Observation Lounge, The Patio Grill, and The Club. It’s a relaxed way to follow the tournament and meet other supporters.
MSC Cruises will be showing the games at The Horizon Bar, The Lido Pool Deck, or The Atrium Lounge. These areas are the ideal spots for catching the action, whilst also enjoying the social vibe of the ship.
Guests on board P&O Cruises can see matches in the SkyDome, The Beach Club Pool Deck, and The Garden Lounge. Big games also appear in main entertainment spaces, so you have several options to keep up with the tournament.
Cunard will host matches in The Pavilion, Queens Room, and select dining venues. Fans can enjoy the biggest games in stylish, comfortable surroundings while connecting with other supporters.
Those sailing with Ambassador Cruise Line will not miss a single 2026 FIFA World Cup match. Every fixture will be broadcast live across their fleet, so you can soak up all of the action whilst at sea.
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines will be showing the FIFA World Cup games on board their fleet. You will be able to catch the tournament matches in the ship's public lounges, such as the Morning Light Pub, as well as on your in-cabin TVs!
The 2026 World Cup isn’t just about the football… It’s a chance to meet other fans and experience new cultures along the way. Many people are blending their love for the game with a bucket list holiday, and cruise lines are ensuring it is easy to follow every match with big screens, cosy seating, and lively social areas throughout.
So, whether you’re chasing the sun on Mediterranean Cruises, discovering the landscapes of Alaska Cruises, or relaxing on the white-sand shores of Caribbean Cruises, you won’t have to miss a single kick.
