A: To travel on a cruise holiday you must have at least six months validity on your passport from your date of return. If you are traveling to Europe, please be aware there are additional requirements as detailed below.
If you are traveling to Europe any extra months added to your passport no longer count towards your passport validity.
Please check your “issue date” and add on ten years which will confirm your new expiry date.
Please then check that your passport will have at least 6 months remaining.
If you require a new passport, we strongly recommend that you apply for your passport as early as you can. Current wait times are longer than usual.
Important Passport Update – between the 3 April and 5 May passport office workers have gone on strike. The current home office advice is to allow 10 weeks to renew a passport, however it may be advisable to allow for extra time.
