Cruise ships are designed to be entertaining and your days at sea give you the ideal opportunity to explore and enjoy the onboard activities to their maximum potential.
Throughout the day there are a variety of activities available on board the ship to keep guests occupied and entertained. Whether you are a bit of a go-getter or just fancy a bit of relaxation there’s generally something to suit every taste. For those who like to work out there is usually a gym on board with the latest in cardio and weights equipment and there are often impressive sports facilities on board with football, tennis and basketball courts. Check out Royal Caribbean’s brand new Ripcord by Ifly skydiving simulator or the Flowrider where you can try out surfing from the comfort of your cruise ship!
Many cruises offer enrichment programmes with experts delivering lectures or classes in chosen subjects including art, craft and cookery. Some cruise lines such as Royal Caribbean also offer matinee performances of some of its ice-skating, Aquatheater and Broadway shows such as "Hairspray".
Every ship features a library with a selection of DVDs and books which can be enjoyed from the comfort of your cabin or out on the sun deck.
Dining is an experience in itself on board ship and with a variety of restaurants to choose from, guests will be able to challenge their palates every day.
So whether you choose to retreat to your cabin, seek solace in the Spa or indulge in your adventurous side you are sure to be kept busy on those days at sea.
