Do you have a good grasp of airlines/airfares and love finding a good deal?

Due to the success of our Product support role within our Cruise division. We now wish to extend the roles capability and hire an additional FTE.

This is a full-time position (4 days minimum) based at our Carrick St office in Ayr (hybrid/remote available dependant on experience).

Job Specifics      

  • Manage OODR bookings for our Cruise team
  • Book/Negotiate flights as they come into range
  • Revisit/Analyse and Loss or Gain and liase with product department to make sure our pricing is adjusted on OODR grids accordingly
  • Assist with creating/updating OODR report Liase with cruise agents on pricing queries on OODR bookings
  • Manage Cruise schedule changes/negotiate with clients and find best options for clients/business
    *Role is fluid and may change as it evolves*

Competencies Required

  • Some Galileo/Worldspan or alternative GDS experience preferrable but not essential
  • Experience in dealing with a wide range of scheduled air enquiries & bookings
  • The ability to find alternative carrier/route options if the obvious or most expensive is precluded from being used?
  • The ability to work under pressure and be able to prioritise a workload commercially and chronologically?
  • An understanding of leisure travel would be a huge asset to the successful candidate?
  • Confidence in negotiating with clients and sometimes delivering tough messages

Hours  

  • Operational hours currently are Monday – Sunday 9-5.30pm, however there is scope that hours may align in the future with sales team.
